Charles Jenkins, founder and data engineer, worked in finance and insurance until 2012, when he was hired as the SQL expert for a small analytics team at a large Academic Medical Center health system. By 2021, Charles was the leader of what had grown into an analytics department of over 80 people.

Charles has developed industry leading data architectures for critical data processes within the healthcare domain including value-based care, data extract automation, and COVID-19 reporting. He led analytics operations, data engineering, and data governance. Charles created a robust federated enterprise data strategy which was realized when he implemented a Databricks Lakehouse data warehouse.

Charles is offering his data engineering services on a contractual basis. He is also available to provide data strategy leadership, team training and development, or interim head of data and technical lead services.
